John has been involved in Mens Sheds nationally since the first national gathering in 2010, assisting in the development of Men’s Sheds across New Zealand through the provision of advocacy and being the vehicle for the sharing of resources that encourages communities to create their own Shed styled around the Men in that community.

His particular interests are to support the development of big picture focussed matters such as Mens Shed Week annually and informative research to strengthen advocacy for Mens Sheds nationally.
